Blood tests suck. Yep that's what I've come up with. As well as that, I've had to limp around everywhere so I looked like a major retard, limping and holding my arm. Bah. At least I had a kickass episode of The O.C. waiting for me when I got home. Ahhh. Love it. Best show ever. Adam Brody is my God. All bow before the wonder that is Seth Ezekiel Cohen. Love him. So today was a rather eventful day. It didn't start that way, but it is now. This morning, I was woken up BEFORE 11!!! I KNOW!!! SHOCK HORROR!!!! There shall be protests up and down North Tce and King William Road all day today. So I was woken up to make a trip down to the market, where I was absolutely stoked to find a rare CD that I've been searching for a year for. Been listening to a bit of it and I've definitely gotta reccoment Fun Never Ends and Love Song by Sense Field. Fantastic stuff. Following that was a trip down to the mall. The mission: To find sports shoes. The reason: I somehow got holes in mine and let me tell you, triple jump with holes in your shoes is not funny. Upside, you can have a beach party anywhere! I did find them, on sale half price. So happy.

After that I went down to King William Road on the hunt for the perfect formal dress. Almost found it, except the neckline just didn't suit me Oh well. The hunt continues. After that I got home, played with budgies (one got concussed....he ran into several windows) and then had dinner. At dinner it was revealed that....dun dun dun....BLOOD TEST TOMORROW!!!! AHHHHHH!!! See this is just my place to vent. Now to some of you (Like my insane friend Amanda) might enjoy blood tests...but I HATE THEM!!! I HATE NEEDLES!!! BAH! It's like this deep seeded fear of needles. They're HORRIBLE. So anyway, I ended up freaking out for about an hour following that, then I decided to play squash.

Bad idea.

Obviously the latter part of today is just not my day. Karma has come around to bite me in the ass. I knew I should've given money to those Red Cross collection people. I was happily playing squash, round robin style, with the family until I somehow managed to roll my ankle whilst going for that damn small ball. So now I'm sitting here with an ankle swelled up to the size of a rather large apple venting. So much pain. Damn genetics. My dad and brother both have weak ankles too. Just before netball season as well. BAH

So now I have to go to a blood test...LIMPING. Which of course means I can't run from the nurse as fast. As well as that, The OC was apparently pre-empted tonight for the Presidential Address. Whatever. Way to kick a person when they're down. So I plan to wallow.

Thinking back, today was a setup. TPTB brought me all up high on a good mood, luring me into their trap with promises of rare cds, half price shoes and formal dresses then WHABAM. Blood tests, sprained ankles and presidential speeches. So bah. What I need right now is chocolate, which I can't have because I have to fast. Bah. Bah, bah, bah.

I'm off to wallow and stare at chocolate, because that masochistic side of me wants to. It also wants me to squeeze my ankle but I'm more logical than that.

Supreme annoyance and Squash

So my sport of the moment is squash. Why, you may ask, is the sport of the moment for a teenage Australian girl squash. Well I'll tell you why. It's all because of the fact that it's too hard to organise friends to attend bodyjam with me! I'm serious! Everyone is constantly busy! It's so damn irritating. So instead, I play squash. It's just like tennis, except it's indoors with a smaller ball, racquet and the ball doesn't bounce. Also, when I stand in a squash court, I feel just like a lion in an enclosure at the zoo, because all the walls surrounding are so high. As well as that, there are these dark stairs which you have to walk down to get into the squash courts. I now have to run down these stairs because my cousin on one occasion mentioned to me that the stairs reminded him of those stairs in horror movies where people get killed or raped. So now, I'm scared of them. My brother also recently made the discovery that there are rats inhabiting that staircase. He and my other cousin now take it upon themselves to yell "Rats! Rats! Rats!" everytime they go up or down the stairs. So annoying.

The mouse problem is still present on my laptop. It's only getting worse. Seriously, the drifting is so bad, it's making me want to throw the laptop on the ground, jump on it repeatedly, set fire to it and then tie it to the back of the QE2.

So I've sorta lost my steam on this post after eating a delicious dinner of carbonara...so I'll post more later.

Intriguing...

So anyway, today I got bored and did a whole lot of quizzes online. I then defined that EVERYTHING makes me pretty and that my voice makes me irresistable. Intresting yes? Apparently everything makes me pretty...so if I was to cut like a centimetre off my hair... would I not be pretty anymore? My voice makes me irresistable??? Why do I so doubt that. You see, the problem with these quizzes, they've never heard me sing.

I also learnt that I'm gonna wipe out a third of the world's population with a bazooka, with my specialty being Europeans. I'm only going to spend three years in jail though, and my homicidal insanity level sits at 25% so I'm one quarter crazy. Fantastic. Gotta say, I definitely am a fan of the bazooka. I mean, come on, even the word bazooka sounds cool. Anything with the word zoo in it is awesome in my books. Watch out you Europeans, I'm coming after you first.

As well as this, by my ten year high school reunion, I'm apparently going to be the president of a small country, and everyone is gonna think I'm really hot! Suddenly the future is looking up, especially considering the fact that Billy Boyd is going to be my husband. I'm thinking that by the 20 year reunion, world domination will be well on the way.That is, of course, if I don't get arrested for killing Lindsay Lohan with a huge chunk of bling on the 27th of January. Damn those quizzes are addictive...

So anyway, I figured that now would be a safe time to update. After all it is 2 days after the THREE POSTS that I did on the day i started this up. Anyway, the aim is to maybe make this look cooler, because I've been looking around on other people's blogs and they look AMAZING. So I'm going to go tutorial hunting after, because I figured I know how to use photoshop, I just need a way to put them on my blog.

Might be going to a movie later. The Interpretator. I'd rather be seeing In Good Company. What can I say, I'm a fan of the old romantic comedy. I'm a definite hopeless romantic.

Welcome Part Deux

Hey Again.
I guess I'm just bored now. So I figured, hey I'll write on my new blog some more! So what is this actually gonna be. Well I know some people have some really cool blogs, with an actual purpose. Whilst I aspire to write a blog that's interesting and that people will actually read, I know that the likelihood of anyone visiting this blog, let alone leaving a comment is slim to none.

I've also decided that having broadband is absolutely POINTLESS when your wireless connection just won't work. It's stupid and lame. I am constantly getting cut off the internet, or my pages just won't load and it's really frustrating me. BAH!!!! I swear, if I wanted to constantly have to disconnect and reconnect to the internet, I would've stuck to broadband. Because this is just getting ridiculous.

Tomorrow I've gotta wake up at about 5:30 am to attend the dawn service for ANZAC Day. It's that or an essay, so I suppose I'm choosing the lesser of two evils. I mean, it's not that the dawn service is a bad thing, I don't mind attending it, it's just, does it have to be at dawn? and does it have to be during the school holidays?

Another pet peeve on this computer. The mouse is immensely out of whack and is constantly drifiting towards the top left corner. Yep it's annoying.

My favourite song of the moment has got to be...unfortunately...Mariah Carey's It's Like That. I swear usually I have more taste then to like a Mariah Carey song, but it's just so catchy! I can't help it. I think I need professional help. Another fantastic song is Why Do You Love Me by Garbage. The guitar riffs in it are fantastic and Shirley Manson's voice suits the song perfectly. I love it. I'm also loving They by the Welsh singer Jem. She's got a fantastic voice and there are elements of They that make it haunting. Jem uses many elements suck as the childlike voices in the background that are rarely heard in other songs. However, the video is a bit doubtful, with no real point or relation to the song. In my opinion, the video is just an attempt to get more male fans, with Jem stripping off in a space station with only lights covering her, Holly Valance style.

I have a huge list of things to do before I get back to school and chances are, I won't do any of it. It's just the procrastinators way.

Hmm my mouse has decided to change things up a bit and go right...no wait it's heading towards the top left-hand corner again. It's because I've got one of those old laptops with the weird touch mouse in the middle of the keyboard. If anyone knows how to disable these things, let me know. In the meantime, I'll be going. People to see, places to go, cleaning to avoid.

Haha it's like saying welcome to myself. So anyway, I got bored and decided that, well u just can't do very much with those msn myspace things so hey, might as well do a blog. I don't know who's actually gonna read this, considering pretty much noone went to my myspace so yea.
